For the Parrot Cay Resort, relaxation is more than just a benefit; it’s the reason travelers flock there.
The Turks and Caicos resort is nestled on a private, 1,000-acre island just 35 minutes from the main island of Providenciales. According to Sybil Bunn, the resort’s publicist, boat access is available for trips into town, but guests usually opt out.
“They could go to the mainland,” Bunn said, “but they usually stay on the island.”
